About Dan
Originally from Slidell, Louisiana, Dan Price is a comedian, Writer, and performer based in Huntsville, Alabama by way of a long string of poor decisions, divine intervention, an eight-year stint in the Marine Corps, Hurricane Katrina, and pure dumb luck.
Dan Has 25 Years’ Experience on stage as a performer and emcee, hosting corporate and military events, christmas parties, and concerts. Dan starred in a nationally touring production of the comedy Jerry Finnegan’s Sister, and Worked a Season as a Skipper on the World Famous Jungle Cruise at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL.
Dan once received a standing ovation as the emcee of a 2004 Christmas Party he produced in Iraq for 300 homesick Marines. Another time, Dan was forcibly removed from a raucous, one-man performance at a Camp Pendleton St. Barbara’s Day dinner, after his jokes instigated a physical riot involving two hundred drunk artillerymen. It was a performance so powerful one Colonel raved, “I want that @#$%!&# in my office first thing Monday morning!”
A Graduate of Lace Larrabee’s Laugh Lab and the co-producer of Huntsville’s Homegrown Comedy Show (Now in its 12th year!), Dan performs regularly at Levity Live Huntsville, Shenanigans Comedy Theatre, and at shows and clubs around the southeast.
